Go Goddess! The Girls’ Night-In Game

A sacred game of truth, laughter, and sisterhood.

Two to seven women, one phone. No app, no account.

How a Night Works

No winners or losers, no right or wrong answers, and one purpose: truth.

  1. Gather Your Circle

Two to seven women and one phone. Type in first names in the order you are sitting: a sofa, a kitchen table, a video call.

  2. Pick a Color, Draw a Card

Seven decks, seven colors. A card asks you to share, asks the whole circle, puts you in the hot seat, dares you or calls a toast. Everyone has two Goddess passes.

  3. Light the Stones Together

Each time every woman has had a turn, a stone lights. Light them all and the circle is complete, and each woman leaves with her Empowerment Color.

The Rules of the Circle

No board, no scorecard, no homework. Just a phone, your women and the truth. Here is everything to know before the first card turns.

  • The Circle Agreements

    • No winners or losers. Nobody keeps score. The stones light for the whole circle at once.
    • No right or wrong answers. Your truth is the right answer.
    • One purpose: truth. Say the real thing, kindly.
    • What is said in the circle stays in the circle. Answers are spoken, never typed, and the game keeps none of them.
    • Pass anytime. Every woman holds two Goddess passes for any card, no explaining required.
  • Gather Your Circle

Two to seven women, one phone and a few hours with nowhere else to be.

    • Name your circle. Type each woman’s first name in the order you are sitting. The first name is the host.
    • Pass the phone round. One phone travels the circle. A sofa, a kitchen table or a video call: all count.
    • Find your color. Every woman gets a deck color. Tap her circle to change it.
  • How a Turn Works

    • No peeking. The phone reaches her, she taps “show me”.
    • Pick a color from the decks, or let “Surprise me” choose.
    • The card turns over. Read it out loud and do what it says.
    • Done? The circle taps Glow for whoever felt it. No points, just light.
    • Pass the phone to the next woman in the circle.
  • The Five Kinds of Card

    • Share. You answer.
    • Circle. Everyone answers, going around, starting with you.
    • Hot Seat. The circle asks, you answer.
    • Do. A small dare. Up you get.
    • Toast. Raise a glass and say why.
  • Gentle, Juicy or Bold

Choose how deep tonight goes before the first card. A card only plays at your level or gentler.

    • Gentle. A first night together.
    • Juicy. Friends who talk.
    • Bold. The old friends.
    • Quick or full. Three stones (about 25 minutes) or all seven, like the original box. Leave any deck in the box if it is not for tonight.
  • How the Night Ends

Each time every woman has had a turn, a stone lights. Light them all and the circle is complete. Then comes the recap:

    • Your Empowerment Color, from the deck you reached for most.
    • The cards that lit the room, the moments you starred.
    • A picture to keep, with first names and colors only.

The Seven Decks

The original box had seven colored decks and seven stones. So does this one. Which color will you reach for first?

Where It Began

In 1991, two friends in Miami Beach started keeping a few hours free every two weeks to talk about everything: relationships, work, dreams, disappointments. Soon a third friend joined them, then more women. That circle became the Goddess Group.

That spirit inspired me to create what Oprah coined a “girls' night-in game”: Go Goddess! A game with no winners or losers, no right or wrong answers, and one purpose: truth. Women everywhere gathered for what became known as a “party in a box” that sold in luxury stores nationwide. The game sparked a celebrity buzz and the beginning of a movement.

In September 2000, O, The Oprah Magazine told the story under the headline “They Turned Girls’ Night Out Into a Game.” Now the game is back, for a new circle of SILVR Goddesses.

How to Host

The questions every first-time host asks, answered before the doorbell rings.

How many women can play?

Two to seven, the same as the original box. The whole circle shares one phone and passes it around.

How long does a night take?

A quick circle of three stones takes about 25 minutes. A full circle of seven stones takes an hour or more, depending on how much you talk.

Do we need an account or an app?

No. Open the game in your phone's browser and start. There is nothing to download and nothing to sign up for.

Can we play when we are not in the same room?

Yes. The host taps “Invite your circle” and sends the link. It sets up the same circle, with the same deck order, on another phone: a night split across two sofas, or played on a video call.

Is anything we say saved?

No. Answers are spoken, never typed. The game keeps the names and the cards drawn on your own phone, and the recap picture shows first names and colors only.

What if a card is too much?

Pass it. Every woman has two Goddess passes, no questions asked. Choose Gentle, Juicy or Bold before you begin, and switch off any deck you would rather leave in the box.

Bring Your Circle

Seven stones, one phone, the women you would call at midnight. Light them together, then keep the circle going.
