I have four silver strands now, and thanks to the support of the silver-haired community I’ve been blessed to discover through my work as Creative Director and VP of Operations for Go SILVR Goddess, I’m not having a full-blown freakout or hyperventilating into a paper bag in the fetal position because apparently my life is over.
Instead, I’m curious, and I’m learning.
I’m curious about who I’m becoming and how my voice might help other women embrace who they’re becoming, too.
I’m curious about what happens when we stop apologizing for aging and start celebrating the fact that we’re still here to do it.
Four silver strands down. A lifetime of stories to go.
And somehow, I now have the privilege of reading and approving every SILVR Story as it arrives for our website, each one reminding me that none of us has to navigate this journey alone.
I’m so grateful to be here with all of you.

After more than 30 years of coloring my hair every three weeks or so, I finally reached a point where I was ready to ditch the dye and reclaim a little piece of myself. I was exhausted by the constant hyper-fixation of wondering whether my gray roots were showing, planning my next time I would…

I used to dye my roots every 2 weeks, religiously. Yet secretly, I admired women with their beautiful gray hair. I looked at pictures online wishing/hoping that I had the “courage” to do it too. One day, after dyeing my hair, I said- this is the last time I’ll do it and that was it.…

I have hated aging for the longest time. Now that I am 58 I choose to embrace it! I see lots of silver goddesses out there and they look amazing! That’s why I decided to embrace my gray. You can look put together, beautiful and distinguished with silver hair.
