Mary's SILVR Story

Oakville, CanadaShared October 25, 2026

At 68, I’ve learned that natural beauty is not about perfection. It’s about authenticity.

Mary’s story

Nineteen years ago, I stopped wearing makeup because I no longer felt the need to hide behind it. What you see is simply me. No foundation, no filters, no attempt to cover the lines that life, love, joy, heartbreak, and wisdom have gently placed upon my face.

My relationship with my hair has been a journey as well. Like my father, I never developed a full head of grey hair. For years I continued colouring it, but recently I made the decision to begin returning to my natural darker colour and allow the silver to emerge in its own way and in its own time.

My silver story is not about letting myself go.

Mary

I’m a businesswoman, a spiritual soul, and someone who believes women should never feel pressured to disappear with age. I believe there is strength in showing up exactly as we are… natural, evolving, imperfect, and real!

My silver story is not about letting myself go. It is about finally letting myself simply BE.
