Hi, my name is Rosa Esposito, and I’m from Naples, Italy. I’m happy to share my story on this wonderful page. I’m 45 years old, and I stopped dyeing my hair at just 38. I knew what I was doing when I heard people were against my choice to go silver. I trusted the process, and it gave me so much. It was more of an internal than external journey: it enriched my self-esteem, it was a journey of emotions. Now I have more faith in change. I love my natural silver. It was innovative, sublime, a journey of transformation in search of my inner self, of acceptance and self-love. I love those moonbeams in my hair, every shade of gray.

After more than 30 years of coloring my hair every three weeks or so, I finally reached a point where I was ready to ditch the dye and reclaim a little piece of myself. I was exhausted by the constant hyper-fixation of wondering whether my gray roots were showing, planning my next time I would…

I used to dye my roots every 2 weeks, religiously. Yet secretly, I admired women with their beautiful gray hair. I looked at pictures online wishing/hoping that I had the “courage” to do it too. One day, after dyeing my hair, I said- this is the last time I’ll do it and that was it.…

I have hated aging for the longest time. Now that I am 58 I choose to embrace it! I see lots of silver goddesses out there and they look amazing! That’s why I decided to embrace my gray. You can look put together, beautiful and distinguished with silver hair.
