So picture this:

I had just celebrated my 70th birthday, feeling fabulous, silver, seasoned, and deliciously wiser, when my darling daughter, Candice, handed me a Mother’s Day card with a gift that left me speechless.

Inside? A professional photo shoot AND contact info modeling agent!

Her reasoning?

The daily, yes DAILY, compliments I received everywhere I went:

“OMG, your hair!” “Is that your natural color?!” “Your hair is amazing!”

My Surprise Second Act

Suddenly, castings are showing up in my inbox.

But not just any castings, roles for women over 60 who LOOK like women over 60.

Meaning:, wrinkles are welcome, laugh lines encouraged, lived experience required, silver hair mandatory

In other words: They don’t want “forever 39.” They want real. They want authentic. They want women like US.

To Any Woman Thinking Her Life Is Winding Down…

STOP.

This chapter? This age? This moment?

It’s not the end. It’s the upgrade.

Life is not slowing down, It’s asking if you’re ready to speed up.

You’ve lived, learned, evolved, survived, grown, and risen, And now?

Now you get to play.

Final Word From Your Rebellious Silver Goddess Friend:

I didn’t see this path coming, but I am strutting straight into it.

And if there’s one thing I know now, it’s this:

Growing older is NOT becoming invisible.

It’s becoming undeniable.

So if you’re silver-curious, silver-proud, or silver-and-still-plucking…

Come stand with me.

We’re not fading. We’re not stepping back. We’re not apologizing.

We are rising, boldly, beautifully, rebelliously SILVER.

Go SILVR, Goddess, it’s just beginning!

“I have never worried about my silver hair, or what others thought much to be fair. I couldn’t be bothered to sit in a vanity chair. I noticed my first grey hair in my teens, by my late twenties my temples were white and I welcomed the stripes. By my late 30’s I had white…

@go_silvr_goddess My inspiration has always been my daughter, Candice, the real North Star of my silver hair revolution. She is brilliant, funny, outspoken, wildly confident, and yes, adorably bossy. Like me, she began going gray in her late 30s, but unlike me, she welcomed every strand like a blessing, carrying herself with the calm…

Grey Doesn’t Scare Me My silver story is really just beginning. I only have a few grey hairs right now, not enough to blend or do much with, so yes, I still dye my hair for the time being. But I’m not afraid of the grey coming in. It doesn’t make me nervous, and it certainly doesn’t…

MY INSPIRATION? MY DAUGHTER. (And a lifetime of hair dye.)

We all have that one person who unintentionally becomes our life coach, fashion critic, emotional support human, and accidental spiritual guru. For me, that person is my daughter, Candice. She is brilliant, funny, outspoken, wildly confident, and yes, adorably bossy. And honestly? I wouldn’t change one molecule of her. My life would be unrecognizable…

Hair Happiness … Then & Now

Back in September 2000, I had one of those pinch-me moments when OPRAH Magazine featured the launch of my Go Goddess! ‘Girls’ Night In Game.’ Seeing my creation come to life on those iconic pages was beyond thrilling, it was a full-on, heart-bursting out of body experience! Fast forward twenty-five years and my newest passion project,…

    How’s Your Va-Jay Jay?

Nobody hands you a glass of Pinot and whispers, “Hey, heads up, if you don’t keep things active down there, your clitoris can actually shrink.” Nobody warns you. So let’s fix that, and let’s talk about how to keep your own personal fountain of orgasms flowing well past menopause. It’s called Clitoral…
