Almost 5 years ago I decided to stop using dye; I used to dye my hair every 2 weeks and my scalp was always very irritated. I made the decision in a few days, simply because the formula of the dye I used changed, and I got so upset that I decided to quit. At first, I lightened it a bit with highlights to disguise the white line and then let it grow. I started as a test and ended up falling in love with my gray hair; I have never been so free without depending on dye.

I started going grey at 35 after a life altering surgery. I’m 50 now. People say I have a unique hair colour as in a natural blond. I hate it when I go to a hair salon and they want to color it, because why? Gray / silver would not be a taboo. Ladies embrace…
