I found my first grey hair at 18 and spent decades coloring, covering, and chasing roots.
A few years before retiring from a 38-year nursing career, I decided to begin my grombré journey. What started as curiosity slowly became a lesson in self-acceptance.
I found my first grey hair at 18 and spent decades coloring, covering, and chasing roots.
The transition wasn’t always easy, but looking back, I only wish I had started sooner. Somewhere along the way, those silver strands stopped feeling like something to hide and became something to celebrate.
Now I’m genuinely surprised by how much I love my silvers. They remind me that every stage of life has its own kind of beauty and confidence.
Turns out the hair I spent years trying to hide is now one of my favorite things about myself. 🤍

I used to dye my roots every 2 weeks, religiously. Yet secretly, I admired women with their beautiful gray hair. I looked at pictures online wishing/hoping that I had the “courage” to do it too. One day, after dyeing my hair, I said- this is the last time I’ll do it and that was it.…

I have hated aging for the longest time. Now that I am 58 I choose to embrace it! I see lots of silver goddesses out there and they look amazing! That’s why I decided to embrace my gray. You can look put together, beautiful and distinguished with silver hair.
