I stopped coloring my hair on January 1, 2025, at age 53 and went cold turkey after years of coloring every few weeks. What started as curiosity turned into a journey of self-acceptance and confidence. Growing out my gray wasn’t always easy, but each month I became more comfortable showing up as myself. Today, I’m proudly embracing my natural silver hair and sharing my journey online to encourage other women to know they have options. Whether you choose to color your hair or go gray, my message is simple: do what feels right for you. Confidence doesn’t come from the color of your hair, it comes from owning your choice.
